Living Well

Cherish Women’s Ministry  invites you into a four-week formation experience called Living Well — a space to grow strong in body, mind, soul and spirit.

True wellness isn’t something you chase; it’s something that’s formed in you over time, as Grace in Christ begins to shape your habits, your thinking and your pace of life.
Each week will explore one aspect of living well in:

  • Mind: learning rhythms of rest, discovering tools for resilience.
  • Soul: Identity integrity and purpose that impact your world from a place of joy and wholeness in Christ.
  • Body: finding strength through movement, rest and nourishment.
  • Spirit: cultivating habits that nurture faith to live authentically to your design by the awareness of the Holy spirit and Living in a renewed mind.

This is not a self-improvement plan; it’s spiritual formation in the ordinary parts of life — where you learn to live whole and healthy, from the inside out.

Come ready to learn, to laugh and to grow — and to discover that formation isn’t about perfection, but about becoming beautifully whole.

2 Corinthians 4: 6 TPT

FOR GOD , WHO SAID, “LET BRILLIANT LGIHT SHINE OUT OF DARKNESS,” IS THE ONE WHO HAS CASCADED HIS LIGHT INTO US — THE BRILLIANT DAWNING LIGHT OF THE GLORIOUS KNOWLEDGE OF GOD AS WE GAZE INTO THE FACE OF JESUS CHRIST.”

In the context of widespread misinformation and a growing focus on quick fixes and “miracle” foods, the session cuts through the noise to highlight what truly matters. As a Christian, Janine is grounded in the belief that God has given us everything we need to thrive — physically, mentally, and spiritually. Session Overview: Strength to Thrive
“His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness” ~ 2 Peter 1: 3

In this talk, Janine will explore strength training as a gift and a tool — something women can use at every phase of life to build resilience, confidence, and long-term health. She will unpack why strength matters not just for fitness, but for longevity, hormonal health, injury prevention, and independence as we age.

You’ll leave with practical, evidence-based tools you can apply immediately: how to train safely through different life stages, how to adapt strength work to your body and circumstances, and how to move forward with confidence — knowing you already have what you need to thrive.

Her life mission is to help both children and adults see themselves in a more positive light and to flourish in their own individual way. She believes that while life is busy, it is possible to live well, love deeply, and thrive — not by striving harder, but by anchoring ourselves in the right foundation.

Liezel’s heart is to encourage people to live from a place of identity and rest in Christ, allowing that place to shape how they move, serve, and structure their lives.

Session Overview: Living from rest, not striving for it

Life is full. Busy. Noisy. And somewhere along the way, rest often becomes another thing we feel we should be doing better. In this session, we’ll gently pause and rethink what rest — and Sabbath — really means. Not as a rule, a day, or a task to get right, but as a place we’re invited to live from. A place rooted in who we are in Christ, where we can stop striving and remember that we are already held.

Together, we’ll reflect on how to slow down without guilt, how to reset when life feels overwhelming, and how to create simple, soul-restoring rhythms that fit real lives. This isn’t about adding more to your list or fixing yourself. It’s about allowing Jesus — our true rest — to guide the pace and shape of our days, so we can live with intention, peace, and a little more space to breathe.
